Smiths Detection wins SR65.9m order from Key Saudi Arabian Security Establishment

Smiths Detection, a global leader in providing government- regulated systems to detect CBRNE threats, has won a $17.6m (SR65.9m) contract to supply a range of advanced equipment to one of the key government security institutions in Saudi Arabia.

The order includes HCVG High Energy Cargo Screening; CIP 300 Car Inspection Portals; HI-SCAN 6040aTix Explosives Detection X-Ray System and IONSCAN 500DT and SABRE 5000 Explosives and Trace Detection Systems. Smiths Detection will also train the Saudi entity’s staff as part of the agreement.

The identity of the institution cannot be revealed for security reasons.
