In light of the excessive demand for car rental, Thrifty Oman has also ramped up its road side assistance services to provide round-the-clock breakdown support,” Jaffer continued. “Services such as these are imperative with the increased amount of road travel that takes place in the Sultanate during the cooler period.”
In addition to the recent fleet and technology upgrades, Thrifty Oman has opened a new outlet in Ruwi, a prime business district in the Sultanate. “We have experienced an excellent year in terms of business revenues and developments in Oman. Tourism has significantly improved in 2010, and demand for car rental services will increase with the number of leisure and business travelers set to rise with the continued global economic recovery,” said Jaffer.
