Dolphin Energy’s routine maintenance program begins on schedule

United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, January 27 - 2009 @ 11:05

The statement is the following:

“Dolphin Energy Limited confirmed yesterday (January 26, 2009) that the company has embarked on a routine partial maintenance shutdown of its production and processing facilities, as previously announced on January 20, 2008.

“This routine partial shutdown is being carried out for maintenance purposes during the low season of consumer demand, and is being closely coordinated with all Dolphin Energy customers.

“As a result of the shutdown, there will be a gradual reduction in supply of gas through the Export Pipeline linking Qatar with the UAE from average production of 2 billion standard cubic feet of gas per day (bcf/day) to 1 bcf/day, over a period of three to four weeks. The outcome of the maintenance works will be to enhance the company’s operational performance.

“The original January 2008 release is attached for ready reference.”
