Dubai Autism Centre celebrates National Day

The students with their teachers performed various activities, such as, live chocolate making demo’s, dancing, face painting, clowns, and henna art, while BMB, manufacturers of high-quality chocolate pralines in the UAE, provided all the children with cookies and chocolate.

In addition, the children planted a union tree with a number of UAE mascots as well as watched a live falcon show, all in celebration of the 41st UAE National Day.

Hayula Mourad, Business Support & Communication Unit Head at the Dubai Autism Center, stated, “Our collaboration with Xerox Emirates has helped us work towards our goal by facilitating a better community understanding of autism. Our mission is to successfully integrate children with Autism into the community through our holistic approach to interventions and therapies together with our focused efforts to create social awareness about Autism. This National Day, with the help of Xerox Emirates, as well as Capital Marketing, who helped us manage the event, we have been able to accomplish this goal.”

Xerox Emirates, the printing partner for Dubai Autism Center, in support of this momentous National Day, contributed further by setting up a photo booth, where pictures were taken on the day of the celebrations, printed using Xerox technology and handed out to all the children and their families. The Children at the Center also painted UAE themed pictures which was printed on the special gifts provided to Xerox Emirates’ key government customers in support to the spirit of the union.

“The 41st UAE National Day marks a special time to recognize and appreciate what we have as a culture and nation and all that has been achieved,” stated Abeer Safa, Marketing Manager, Xerox Emirates.

“We at Xerox Emirates are very excited about this collaboration with Dubai Autism Centre and as an organization, our staff and volunteers have shown their support by dressing up in National Dresses and celebrating the day with the children and their families. Furthermore, we believe we have the right technology and support to raise awareness around such a good cause and we are pleased to be a part of this occasion,” she added.
