The Festival, which has been supported by the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the Emirate’s dedicated Authority for culture, arts, and heritage, since its inception, hosted nine different talks by renowned female authors, over the course of the morning.
Her Highness Sheikha Latifa plays an instrumental role in the development of the city’s literary scene through her active involvement with Dubai Culture & Arts Authority.
A member of the Board of Trustees of the new ‘Emirates Literature Foundation,’ announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikha Latifa attended two discussions highlighting her strong interest in strengthening literature, one of the most important pillars of Dubai’s culture.
