Dubai Food Festival continued its support of events in Dubai over the weekend by hosting the Friday Literary Lunch at the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature with celebrity chef and author Greg Malouf.
The Australian, of Lebanese descent, has developed what has been called the ‘Modern Middle Eastern’ style of cookery. Greg’s new book, New Middle Eastern Food, is co-authored with Lucy Malouf and is the latest in a series of titles imbued with the evocative flavours of Iran, Turkey, Lebanon and Syria.
The lunch was held at Terra Firma Restaurant at the festival’s venue in the InterContinental Hotel, Dubai Festival City and was hosted by HE Laila Mohammed Suhail, CEO of Dubai Festivals & Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of Dubai Tourism & Commerce Marketing. DFRE is running the Dubai Food Festival until 15 March.
