As part of achieving maximum customer satisfaction and within the framework of finding out new measures to improve services, Dubai Municipality has come up with a new initiative which brings top leaders of the civic body and customers closely together.
It was announced by Khalid Badri, director, customer relations department of Dubai Municipality.
He said the initiative is planned to be launched in collaboration with Assets Management department of the municipality and the first part of it was organized in Fruits& Vegetable market.
According to him, top officials of the civic body visited shops and outlets and communicated with a number of customers.
“Dubai Municipality has been keen on applying various mechanisms to hear from its customers, opinions, suggestions and complaints in order to improve services and better performance” he said.
He referred to a recently organised program which was titled as ‘Leaders on air’ where top officials of the civic body were available to answer customers’ telephone calls at a designated time period.
He said the new initiative to visit shops and markets in order to closely understand customers’ needs comes in line with the same aim targeted in call-officials program.
“Dubai Municipality, as one of the big government organizations in Dubai, believes that satisfaction by customers is the real indicator to the growth of the organization. So, to win maximum, the civic body will be applying diverse programs to reach out to various sections of its customers,” he added saying.
During the visit, municipality officials distributed mementos and gifts to customers in honour to their contribution to the success of civic body’s efforts.
