Tamweel will join leading banks and financial institutions at this three-day exhibition, aimed at recruiting young and aspiring UAE National graduates interested in pursuing careers in the banking and financial sector.
Wasim Saifi, Chief Executive Officer, Tamweel, said:
“Tamweel has always been a strong advocate of the UAE Government’s Emiratisation plan. As a responsible corporate citizen, Tamweel is committed to recruiting, training and developing UAE Nationals and offering career progression into middle and senior-level positions. Our current workforce consists of a considerable number of UAE nationals, and by aggressively targeting students from local universities at this exhibition, we aim to attain a significantly higher level of Emiratisation by 2009.”
Najwa Al-Rowaished, Head of Human Resources, Tamweel, added: “The National Career Exhibition provides an ideal platform to promote and create awareness about Tamweel and the various training and career opportunities available at the company. Emirati job seekers will also have the opportunity to present their skills and qualifications and interact with our recruitment managers, who will be present at the career fair.”
Tamweel has long been a pioneer in attracting, developing and retaining the best talent. The company’s recently introduced Management Training Programme for young professionals focuses on providing additional development opportunities through ongoing learning and training activities.
Apart from annual performance incentive schemes, Tamweel has also initiated an Employee Stock Ownership Plan to create an entrepreneurial spirit among employees. In addition, employees undergo skill development programmes, mentoring and incubation plans.
