Haytham Aziz has been appointed as Executive Assistant Manager in charge of rooms at The Ajman Palace & Resort – managed by HMH-Hospitality Management Holdings – one of the new management team reinventing both services and operations at Ajman’s first five-star certified hotel and resort.
Making the announcement, Ferghal Purcell, General Manager of The Ajman Palace Hotel & Resort, stated, “I am delighted to welcome Haytham to the team, and value his expertise and exceptional experience that will prove instrumental at The Ajman Palace Hotel & Resort as the emirate grows in importance attracting discerning leisure and business travelers.”

Hailing from Egypt, Haytham began his career as a Guest Service Agent at the Sheraton El Gezirah Hotel in Cairo before moving to the renowned Jolie Ville Mövenpick Golf & Resort Hotel in Sharm-El-Sheikh where he trained as a Reservation Agent.
Returning to Starwood, he then spent three years at the Sheraton Cairo Hotel, Tower & Casino gaining experience as Front Desk Shift Leader prior to a transfer to the Gulf where he became Duty Manager at the Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel & Resort, and then Front Office Manager at the Aloft Abu Dhabi and the Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi.
Before joining The Ajman Palace Hotel & Resort, Haytham was Director of Guest Services at the Sheraton Dubai Mall of the Emirates Hotel, a strategic role during the conversion and rebranding of that property to Starwood.
