STC participated in the inauguration ceremony of the new electronic services of The General Directorate of Passports in collaboration with the National Information Center and ELM company. The ceremony was held by the General Directorate of Passports at Al Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh.
A delegation from STC attended the inauguration as part of the company policies to increase its strategic partnerships with all clients of the business sector in the Kingdom.
Suleiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya, Director-General of Passports, explained, “The development of electronic services was supported by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, represented by the Ministry of Interior, to provide electronic services for citizens and residents with professionalism and high quality.”
“The online services aim to inform all users of passport services about the achievement regarding its goal, to become a department without visitors,” he added.
Al-Yahya praised the partners role to speed up the move to e-government, and to overcome any obstacles that may pose difficulties in facilitating the delivery of electronic services to citizens and residents.
