Through this national initiative, the bank aims to recruit 50 fresh Emirati graduates from the academic year 2013 and appoint them in various department and branches.
The move is in line with SIB’s eagerness to attract new Emirati graduates and develop their career skills to reach the professional level, enabling these national talents to play an important role in the growth of Islamic banking in the country. It is, also, part of the bank’s approach to support various national initiatives aimed at making this year a year of Emiratization.
Speaking on the occasion, HE Mohammed Abdullah, CEO of Sharjah Islamic Bank, said, “Emiratization is one of our priorities and is addressed as a major concern in our annual strategies. This issue has a special significance this year, as it was declared by our leaders that 2013 is the year of Emiratization and creating jobs for UAE nationals. We are proud to be part of the nationwide responsible initiatives and to create 50 jobs for our new Emirati graduates in the bank’s various departments and branches.”
HE added, “Our bank is honoured to launch our Open Emiratization Day under the title “My Future toward Professionalism” which aims to attract, retain and develop national talents, enabling them to be more productive in their careers. We deeply believe in the significant role that our qualified national talents can play in safeguarding our national interests and sustaining our success in the future.”
Sharjah Islamic Bank announced job openings for Emirati applicants who are fresh graduates of this year from all disciplines, not only financial, banking and business disciplines. Jobs created by the bank include all banking, administrative technical, financial, human resources, media and many other disciplines.
Sharjah Islamic Bank has prepared attractive packages for candidates, including competitive salaries and other benefits in addition to career development programmes that aim to develop career skills, provide the appropriate work environment for creativity and innovation, and prepare employees for leadership and senior positions in various departments in the future.
New graduates can apply and submit their documents at the bank’s headquarters on the 9th floor. Candidates will join training workshops to be prepared for interviews, during which the most successful candidates will be selected.
