H.H Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Academic Performance hosts 12th Asia- Pacific Conference on Giftedness

These tours aim to promote the conference, reinforce the awareness levels involve all entities concerned in developing gifted children and young people skills throughout the Middle East, Asia & the Pacific. These tours had achieved a positive response in the past week in Kuwait, Bahrain & KSA.

Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for the Distinguished Academic Performance will host the 12th edition of the Asia Pacific Conference on Giftedness for the first time with supervision of The Asia-Pacific Federation on Giftedness APFG , a non- profit organization aims to nurture the gifted and the creative young people in Asia and the Pacific.

Dr.Jamal AlMuhairi , the Secretary – General for Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for the Distinguished Academic Performance & the Head of Supreme Committee for the 12th edition of the Conference, will lead the inductive tour joining him his excellency, Mr.Sulaiman Abdulkhaliq AlAnsari, the executive director for Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for the Distinguished Academic Performance & member in Supreme Committee for the 12th edition of the Conference & Mr.AbdulGhafour AlKhaja, Finance and HR Manager for the said award and Mr.Dawood AlShizawi, the executive director of Strategic Exhibitions, the event organizer.

The discussions at the forums had stressed on the participation of gifted students for the age group between 9 to18 years old. In addition to Parental contribution in workshops preceded the Conference.

“It is known that the gifted children possess distinguished mental skills and they do have high expectations, therefore, we have worked hard to enhance our abilities on various levels whether in Family, individual or Governmental, to create sustainable educational environment which the main goal for this conference in Dubai. The inductive tours aim to increase the awareness about the significance of this event and to clarify our responsibility towards the gifted children in the region, we are extremely pleased with the positive response we witnessed through our tours around the GCC on its various social classes”. Dr.Jamal AlMuhairi said.

His Excellency, Mr.Sulaiman AbdulKhaliq AlAnsari said: “the event aims to provide the concerned entities in this sector with the best methods and practices to know the children gifts and nurture it, moreover, it aims to create educational standards for the gifted young people in addition to establish a knowledge center to nurture , support , develop & protect the people with distinguished mental skills whom their natural tendencies form an obstacle in their social life.”

The conference is for 5 days including exhibition, workshops & forums with more than 2000 participants from all over the world working in educational sector for gifted people including the gifted people with special needs.

Psychiatrics , Scientists beside a number of inventors in Literature, Math & Music will participate in the event where they will discuss the latest in the sector.
