BAS is pleased to announce the successful migration to Altéa Departure Control System – Flight Management and Customer Management. The migration which started on Monday 2nd June, is part of BAS ICT strategic plan to replace legacy systems with state of the art IT solutions.
The upgrade to Altea will improve BAS efficiency in handling the flights processing operations, both passenger services and load control. It will further, enable BAS to provide better services to the customers as Altea is designed to efficiently handle multiple flights from different airlines using a single application sign-in, this feature reduces dramatically the training time required to operate the system and hence improve operational staff productivity and readiness.
