The bank announces the winners of the two customer satisfaction contests

ALEXBANK crowd sources for innovation through youth and the experience of its staff

As part of ALEXBANK’s commitment to spreading the culture of “Customer Satisfaction” and identifying customers’ needs in an attempt to improve the services offered to them, the bank has recently organized two contests; one for the students of the American University in Cairo (AUC) and the German University in Cairo (GUC) and another for ALEXBANK employees.

The contests aimed at targeting new customer segments as well as maintaining existing customers’ satisfaction via developing efficient and innovative means of interaction.

The university contest included eight students from different majors such as Economics, Statistics, Math, Engineering, Business Administration and Communication. A committee composed of ALEXBANK Directors and Experts selected the participants according to predefined set of criteria; primarily English language proficiency, GPA, curricular and training experience.

As for ALEXBANK’s internal contest which aimed at sustaining a customer care culture, a large number of employees and managers from ALEXBANK branches and departments took part. The contest included several questions directly related to raising employees’ understanding of the customer satisfaction concept and its determinants.

Roberto Vercelli, Managing Director and CEO of ALEXBANK, stated, “The bank is very attentive to its customers’ needs. It constantly holds surveys assessing the level of satisfaction among customers regarding its products and services with the intention of improving the existing ones and developing new ones that meet their needs. To realize this goal, the bank focuses primarily on developing the skills and culture of its employees to perform these tasks. In addition to taking advantage of the innovative ideas from university students to develop products and services for the bank to achieve greater satisfaction and loyalty of its customers.”

The bank announced the results of the two contests in the presence of Roberto Vercelli, Managing Director and CEO of ALEXBANK. The university winners were granted training opportunities for their participation, whereas the ten winning bank employees were awarded prizes.
