The Bahrain All Share Index rose for the third session straight, closing 0.65 per cent higher at 1,384.48 points on Tuesday, April 8. Al Salam Bank Bahrain advanced by 1.90 per cent to BHD0.216. In a filing to the Manama market, Al Salam Bank said it entered an increase of its authorised share capital of BHD250 million into the commercial registry, as well as its issued and paid up share capital (BHD214m). The capital had been increased for the bank’s acquisition of BMI Bank.
