International Bank of Qatar (ibq) partnered with MEED for Qatar Projects 2014 for the fifth year in a row. The Conference is being held in Doha, from March 18-19 at the Grand Hyatt hotel, under the esteemed patronage of H.E. Dr. Mohammed Bin Salah Al-Sada, Minister of Energy & Industry of the State of Qatar, featuring a keynote address presented by H.E. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Saoud Al-Thani, Governor of Qatar Central Bank.
ibq sponsored and hosted the MEED Qatar Projects 2014 Gala Dinner on Tuesday, 18th March. The event was attended by distinguished delegates, VIP guests and senior executives representing major international corporations.
Mr. Jabra Ghandour, Managing Director of ibq, delivered the Gala Dinner welcoming speech and congratulated the winner of MEED Leadership Award, H.E. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Saoud Al-Thani, Governor of Qatar Central Bank, and the winner of the MEED Visionary Award Dr. Ibrahim Ibrahim, Economic Advisor at the Emiri Diwan.
