The Qatar Exchange (QE) 20 Index rebounded Tuesday, April 15, closing at 12,321.89 points. Market bellwether Industries Qatar advanced 1.67 per cent to QAR183. Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) lost 0.9 per cent to QAR78. Earlier in the day, QIB said in a filing to the bourse that Cyprus-based rating agency Capital Intelligence reaffirmed by its financial strength rating of ‘A’ in its latest report issued in April 2014, which also stated that the outlook on the FSR had been changed to ‘stable’, “in view of the significant improvement in financing asset quality and stabilised return on average assets”.
