Union National Bank recently won the acclaimed Superbrand award 2014. Mr. Mohammed Zein, SVP & Head of Corporate Business Group, Dubai Region and Mr. Ahmed Rida Kolthoum, SVP & Head of Corporate Business Group, Sharjah & NE region received the Award on behalf of UNB during the Superbrands Tribute Event that was held on Tuesday 18th June 2014 in Dubai. This is the 4th consecutive year that UNB has achieved this distinction having earlier achieved Superbrand status in 2011, 2012 & 2013.
UNB’s continuous achievements are a testimony of the bank’s significant progress towards excellence and leadership over the years.
UNB was voted by the Superbrands Council and over 2,500 marketing professionals in the UAE as a Superbrand for 2014. Brands that have attained Superbrands status have been selected from the brands most highly rated by the independent Superbrands council and by senior managers from the brands in contention from a list of over 3,000 brands available in the UAE. Brands are selected based on many criteria including, market dominance, longevity, business performance, goodwill, customer loyalty and market acceptance.
