One of our clients is in need of an Electrical Engineer and the position will be based in Doha Qatar. The company is dealing with Mechanical and Electrical.
The role of the Electrical Engineer is to plan, research, and design, develop, test, or supervise the installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use.
Main responsibilities :
1.Prepare technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to customer requirements .
2.Operate computer-assisted engineering, design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
3.Confer with authority agents, engineers, customers, and others to discuss existing and potential engineering projects .
4.Direct or coordinate construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
5.Design, implement, maintain, improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components systems for commercial, industrial, or domestic purposes.
6.Prepare specifications for purchases of materials and equipment.
7.Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish construction, installation standards and specifications conform to authority rules and regulations.
8.Investigate customer complaints, determine nature and extent of problem, and recommend remedial measures.
9.Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed on time and within budget.
10.Plan or implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
11.Perform other duties as assigned by his superiors.

PROJECTS MANAGER(Reporting to G.M) and managing 7 project managers) RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overall responsibility of Projects and other Departments including Administration, Finance, Procurement, Logistics and other Support departments. - Comply with all safety and health policies and procedures. Contribute to the development of safety standards on and off -site operations and ensures that they are complied. - Monitors directly key performances and initiates changes as and when required to ensure to achieve the set targets in day-to-day activities in particular and overall project s progress in general. - Ensures achievement of quantitative and qualitative project targets of each project, department and support sections. - Control spending within budget constraints. - Manpower management of projects, departments and supports sections. - Follow up and coordinate with Government agencies, Ministries, chambers and offices for all related aspects of the project. - Ensures proper training of manpower as, when and if necessary. - Ensures proper allocation of manpower to projects, departments and sections. - Documenting all expenditures with supporting documents within the same month of spending, and reporting to Finance Department. - Materials Procurement Submissions of Monthly Procurement Report, including requirement and purchased materials. - Follow up safety incident investigations to ensure the highest safety standards are followed to minimize risk to employees and eliminate hazards wherever practical. - Active involvement and interaction with Management Team to ensure all safety, quality, operation and cost objective are achieved. - Ensure high standard of cleanliness of premises, offices and work locations
