ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT. The Registration Associate normally functions under direct supervision of a Senior Officer often Registration Officer or Protection/Field Officer, who defines general work objectives and provides necessary advice and guidance. The Registration Associate may supervise some support staff in which case Managerial competencies M001 and M002 (under 2.3 below) are applicable and should be selected by the staff member and manager in the context of Performance Appraisal Management (e-PAD). The incumbent keeps frequent contacts with staff in the office and occasionally with staff in other duty stations and/or Headquarters; with implementing partners and government officials on subject matters which may be of importance to the Organization. FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT. Describe the accountabilities, responsibilities and authorities associated with the position. - Assist in implementation of agreed registration strategies and systems for populations of concern to meet standards for registration. - Assist in monitoring the refugee situation including refugee movements in the camp and elsewhere. - Support the field office team on management of registration and maintenance of population information. - Facilitate and/or dispatch data collection in the local operation, including data collection methodology, data processing and data analysis. - Update database for registration and provide statistics and data analysis as required. - May be required to collaborate with implementing partners in charge of distribution of Non-food Items (NFIs) and FIs. - Perform other duties as required.
