Total Jordan to expand into Southern Jordan with opening of its first service station in Gweira

Total Jordan has recently announced the launch of its very first service station in Southern Jordan, at Al Gweira on Amman-Aqaba Road. The inauguration event was conducted by the Deputy of the Chief Commissioner of Aqaba in charge of Environmental Affairs; Dr. Muhannad Harara, on June11th and welcomed a number of Heads of clans and governmental officials and VIPs attending the event.

The ceremony started with a speech conducted by Dr. Harara in light of the grand opening as well as a speech by the Managing Director of Total Jordan, Philippe Cabus. Guests were given a comprehensive tour of the station followed by a traditional lunch. Substantial attendance was present at the inaugural ceremony comprising of employees and contractors from Total Jordan as well as officials from various sectors around the Kingdom.

Mr. Cabus highlighted Al Gweira station’s favorable location stating, “we strongly believe that the station will act as a gateway to our expansion into Aqaba province and other parts of southern Jordan. Al Gweira station welcomes TOTAL Card holders around Jordan who are eligible to benefit from vehicle maintenance services at privileged prices, and to benefit from all the services offered in a professional way. The station’s strategic location on Aqaba Road helps us serve a significant number of customers as we seek to boost our reach in the Kingdom, as part of our strategic expansion plan.”

Mr. Cabus went on to mention, “we will continue in our sincere endeavors to offer preeminent services and exceed our customers’ expectations as we look forward to having TOTAL service stations available in many regions across Jordan.”

Mr. khaled Amro, the Owner of Al Gweira station, commented on the station’s integration with Total Jordan saying, “I am pleased to be working with Total Jordan as they have a strong reputation for quality excellence and have shown resilience in offering the highest standards of service. Total continues to make great progress in Jordan and I am guardedly confident that their operations will be warmly welcomed by Southerners of Jordan.”
