These models have a high power factor of 0.9, which allows increased capacity of operation in terms of power usage. The new range, which includes 10 models, also offers enhanced reliability N+1 configurations when used at below 50% capacity, as provided by the detachable PDU that combines the output of two separate individually hot-swappable UPS systems.
The 10 models are available at 12kVA capacity (SU12KRT4U and SU12KRT4UHW), 16kVA capacity (SU16KRT, SU16KRT-1TF, SU16KRTG and SU16KRTHW) and 20kVA capacity (SU20KRT, SU20KRT-1TF, SU20KRTG and SU20KRTHW), and provide true on-line, double-conversion operation with pure sine wave output and zero transfer time. They also incorporate an optional ‘Economy Mode,’ which significantly reduces BTU heat output and operating energy costs. In addition, they include an HID-enabled USB port, a DB9 serial port, an SNMP/Web interface and PowerAlert software as well as optional external battery packs that significantly expand runtime.
