The project will be one of the Middle East’s largest district cooling operations, providing a combined capacity of fifty thousand tons of refrigeration (177 MW), and serving a 27 km2 area. Two of the three cooling plants will be completed by the latter part of 2012, and the third, in Saadiyat Beach District, will be completed in 2016 as further properties reach completion.
