Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) organizes the annual Private Education Investment Forum, tomorrow, for the second time in a row. To be held under the slogan “Sustainable Investment”, the event is designed to brief investors and operators on PSQA plans for allowing access to affordable high quality private education in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

ADEC revealed that PSQA, in collaboration with its strategic partners investing in private schools, has provided additional 34,281 school seats in order to help fulfill the growing demand for private schools. Through the creation of 11 new private schools, additional 14,553 seats will be provided over the next two years.

To start on Tuesday, April 15, the forum aims to promote investment in private education in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi by attracting new investors who can offer high quality education. During the event, PSQA will showcase its mission, vision, scope, high level strategy. It will also update participants on key facts of today’s student and school population market structure, quality baseline, and PSQA sector facilitation and support. In addition, light will be shed on the importance of having the required financial capabilities for sustainable private education investment and reinvestment in quality education.

Eng. Hamad Al Dhaheri, ADEC’s Executive Director of PSQA, said that ADEC supports private schools in order to provide high quality education without affecting tuitions fees.

“We encourage serious investors to build quality private schools affordable to low and moderate income families, discuss the sector’s needs, showcase the emirate’s needs of private schools, highlight facilitation provided by ADEC and identify obstacles facing investors.”

“PSQA is implementing a program for supporting investment in affordable high-quality P-12 education in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. ADEC issues public tenders offering land plots and vacant public school buildings to investors and operators in order to establish and operate new private schools meeting ADEC safety and security standards,” Al Dhaheri pointed out.
PSQA is keen to create an attractive operational environment to facilitate school building through communicating with relevant government authorities in order to overcome difficulties that may face investors, added Al Dhaheri.

“The strategic partnership between ADEC and private education sector is vital. ADEC is keen to have a wide variety of private schools across the emirate. In doing so, ADEC focuses on certain key elements, namely, high student performance, effective teaching and school leadership, and allowing access to affordable quality private schools,” he added.
