ADNOC Distribution has launched a new technical inspection center for vehicles in Al Bateen area of Al Ain City as part of its ongoing expansion plans which involve launching a number of specializeed vehicles technical inspection centers across the emirate. The launch comes in response to the growing needs of ADNOC Distribution’s customer base for its various products and services.
Mohammed Obaid Al Dhaheri, Senior Vice-President of Retail Sales, ADNOC Distribution, officiated the opening of the center in the presence of senior officers from Al Ain Police Headquarters, as well as department directors and employees of ADNOC Distribution.
Integrating best in class standards and technical specifications, the technical inspection center has the capacity to service 300 vehicles per day. With two tracks currently operational and the provision to expand to four tracks in the future, the new center also offers vehicle registration and licensing services. Featuring car insurance company offices, an ADNOC Oasis outlet that includes restaurants and snack shops and an ATM machine at the premises, the Al Bateen center is functional from 7am until 10pm, Sunday through Thursday.
Commenting on the opening, Al Dhaheri said: “The response to our initiative to open new vehicle technical inspection centers. In order to reduce congestion at the existing centers in Al Ain at certain times of the day, ADNOC Distribution is working to establish new centers and expand the scope of the existing ones. Al Bateen Center now has the wherewithal to provide our customers with high-level technical examination services.”
He added: “ADNOC Distribution is also stepping up construction work at other new and existing services stations and centers in all parts of the country, especially ADNOC Autoserv Centers that offer vehicle repair services. Our relentless efforts reiterate ADNOC Distribution’s vision of providing world class services and products to our rapidly growing customer base across the UAE.”
ADNOC Distribution is set to open Autoserv stations in Al Shamkha (Motor World), Mushrif, Mahwah, Bahia, North Al Shamkha, Mukatra, Shakhboot City (previously Khalifa B), North Al Rahba, North Al Falah, and Bahia (behind Carrefour). The company is also carrying out renovation works of Officers City and Al Shahama stations in Abu Dhabi, as well as for two stations in the Western Region. The company aims to open three additional stations in Sharjah, two in Ras Al Khaimah and one in Umm Al Quwain.
