From introducing 35 additional summer flights to meet customer demand throughout the region to the opening of their own travel shops across the UAE and in key destinations, it was a hectic first summer for Air Arabia!
“We carried over 200,000 passengers from the beginning of June to date with a load factor across the network of 80% – this far exceeded our initial expectations of the market,” said A.K. Nizar, Air Arabia’s Head of Sales. He added: “Not only did we offer passengers lower fares, but if a customer booked early enough they could obtain a flight at 50% lower than the general market price.”
Yoga Yoheswaran, a recent Air Arabia passenger commented: “I wish to congratulate Air Arabia for making air travel affordable for many people; you have been able to achieve this by concentrating on the main objective – to carry people from point A to point B cutting down on unnecessary expenditure.”
Constantly aiming to provide customers with greater convenience and flexibility whenever and wherever possible, Air Arabia’s partnership with Emirates Post, offered customers greater accessibility for ticket purchases through a network of 58 post offices across the UAE. In addition, to continue offering affordable and more frequent travel to the people of the region, Air Arabia’s promotion with Mashreq Bank offered card holders half price fares – allowing greater travel opportunities across the region while Air Arabia’s joint promotion with Emarat gave all gas station customers, who spend at least Dirhams 20, a scratch-n-win card to win air tickets to Air Arabia’s 14 destinations.
Concluded Nizar: “This has been a successful summer for Air Arabia. We were able to cater to our customer needs with additional summer flights, offer our customers more points of purchase through our travel shops and recent partnerships and generally offer superior service levels with our consistent punctuality record of 87% on-time departures.”
