The new showroom, located in the upscale Abu Dhabi Corniche area, features a selection of fine Ajmal fragrances alongside Murano glass objets d’art.
At the official opening of the new fragrance boutique in the UAE capital, H.E. Mohammed Omar Abdullah said: “On behalf of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry we would like to extend our congratulations to Ajmal Eternal on its new venture into Abu Dhabi. It always gives us great pleasure to welcome such highly-successful establishments which will provide a unique offering to customers in the emirate.”
“Our mission is to continuously enhance the economy of Abu Dhabi by developing its thriving private sector. Through our range of services, we hope to facilitate the development of private enterprise in Abu Dhabi and ensure the success of home-grown businesses such as Ajmal Eternal.”
Nazir Ajmal, Marketing Director and Chief Perfumer said: “We would like to thank His Excellency Mohammed Omar Abdullah for joining us in marking a very important milestone in the history of Ajmal Eternal. We at Ajmal Perfumes, value the partnership we share with the Abu Dhabi government and are confident it will continue to develop and grow.”
Mr. Ajmal continued to explain Ajmal Eternal’s expansion into Abu Dhabi as part of the company’s ambitious growth plans and as a means to consolidate its regional presence.
“Since its inception in 2001, the niche retail concept has enjoyed astounding success in Dubai. The over whelming support from our customers has inspired us to expand our reach and bring this unique concept to Abu Dhabi. By extending Ajmal Eternal’s unique offering to Abu Dhabi, we are ensuring it is more accessible to our valued customers.”
Ajmal is forging ahead with plans to increase the number of exclusive showrooms in strategic locations in the UAE, in addition to making the premium fragrance studio accessible to perfume and art connoisseurs in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the Levant.
He continued: “Our plans to expand in the UAE and new regional markets will meet both the demand for premium fragrance products and the appreciation for fine works of art – in our case beautifully crafted one-of-a-kind Murano artefacts.”
As part of a concerted effort by Ajmal Perfumes to focus on different market segments, the unique retail offering was developed to target discerning customers who demand premium fragrances and oudh products. Understanding the Ajmal Eternal customer mind-set prompted the perfumer to cater to this niche group of clientele who possess a sophisticated appreciation for art pieces as well as premium fragrances in a first-class boutique setting.
“Ajmal Eternal was the outcome of our core belief that perfumery is an intricate form of art and not just a retail practice. Targeted towards art connoisseurs and fragrance-lovers alike, Ajmal Eternal aims to fuse together different forms of art with the art of perfumery,” added Ajmal.
Located at Al Hana Tower, on the Abu Dhabi Corniche, the new 1400-square foot showroom will allow visitors to not only experience a wide selection of exclusive fragrances – Eau de Parfums, concentrates, Mukhallats, Dahn Al Oudh’s and Attars from the house of Ajmal Perfumes, but also be able to select and purchase Murano glass objets d’art. Its regal ambience is derived from a unique blend of old Arabic charm and modern chic. The lush mahogany furniture, marble flooring, lustrous metallic fittings, gently rounded counters and ambient lighting lend to the feel and charm of a first-class boutique.
Currently offering glass objet’s d’art exquisitely crafted by master artisans from Murano in Italy, Ajmal Eternal’s mission is to extend it’s offering to include various art forms which will be appreciated by collectors.
