With the Dubai International Shopping Festival kicking off from the 28th January 2010, and shopping malls being such a popular lifestyle activity across the Emirates, protection for Ajman Bank customers’ best buys couldn’t have come at a better time.
This protection plan is available to classic, premium and platinum Ajman Bank card holders with certain limits applicable, depending on the card type the customer holds. Acting CEO of Ajman Bank, Ali E Alshaqoosh Al Mueen, made the following comment.
“This new protection scheme will benefit all our card holders, providing them with added security, and furthermore, reassurance, that shopping items are protected. ‘Purchase Protection’ is a secure solution in order to provide our customers with the best customer care and services.”
The protection plan which covers stolen, or damaged buys, affords Ajman Bank customers real peace of mind when out and about in the UAE. Shoppers will have up to ninety days from the obtained date to use this facility. For any stolen items the protection plan will cover the cost, refunding the amount, or in the case of damage, pay the repair cost, or replace the purchase, subject to certain criteria.
Claims have to be reported no later than forty five days from the date of event. Customers must submit an original purchase invoice, original credit card payment slip, original police report, repair estimate, and photographs of damaged insured properties. Claims will then be settled directly to the customer by OIC within ten working days from the date of receipt of all the documents.
