The new unit aims to process a number of customer services by the next working day, including account openings and amendments, processing of standing orders, cheque book and statement requests, home, auto, personal finance and credit card applications. In addition customers may submit bank certificates and letters, access trade services and finally on the same working day duplicate their personal statements.
The introduction of the EBU is yet another move towards making banking simpler and easier for customers; Ajman Bank is dedicated to providing maximum convenience by creating a larger platform for accessible banking. Over the past few months Ajman Bank has seen its services reach grow with the additions of branches in both Sharjah and Abu Dhabi as well as the introduction of SMS banking.
Acting CEO of Ajman Bank, Ali E Alshaqoosh Al Mueen, made the following comment:

The new EBU allows requests to be carried out on the next working day with the exception of duplication of personal statements which can be processed that day.
