As part of its efforts to develop young individuals’ entrepreneurial and managerial skills, and foster high-impact entrepreneurship across Jordan, Endeavor Jordan partnered for the third time with INJAZ and Endeavor Jordan company Akhtaboot during Global Entrepreneurship Week 2013 (GEW). GEW 2013 was observed in 130 countries worldwide and drew the participation of approximately 7.5 million individuals.
As part of the collaboration, Akhtaboot delivered a two-hour workshop on Hiring the Right People and Conducting a Successful Interview. The workshop is part of Akhtaboot’s CSR initiative, Akhtaboot Cares, which aims to design and conduct specialized training programs that develop employability skills across the MENA and GCC regions. Held at INJAZ’s headquarters and attended by students of INJAZ’s Start-ups Program which falls under the Entrepreneurship and Employment Unit, the workshop was geared towards enhancing the participants’ entrepreneurial, managerial and employability skills.
“At Endeavor Jordan, we strive to provide aspiring young entrepreneurs with mentorship, support and networking opportunities that help them achieve entrepreneurial success, as well as to involve them in workshops and sessions that arm them with the tools and skills they need to improve their prospects. Organizing this workshop, particularly during Global Entrepreneurship Week, further emphasizes our efforts in this regard,” commented Rasha Manna, Managing Director of Endeavor Jordan. “I would like to thank INJAZ and Akhtaboot for partnering once again with Endeavor Jordan, and we look forward to delivering similar workshops in the near future,” she added.
