Work started on AED 1 billion Al Hamra Village development project in Ras Al Khaimah

A company official said that the unique project is the first and largest of its kind in the Northern Emirates. It would have 1,200 residential units ranging from villas of various sizes, bungalow-style apartments, an 18-hole golf course and a marina for yachts and boats of various sizes.

The project, which is encouraged and fully supported by His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, is expected to give a strong boost to the economy of the Emirate, not only by giving a boost to the real estate and construction sector, but also by creating a unique project that would enhance the tourism appeal of Ras Al Khaimah.

The Al Hamra Village project enjoys a unique location as it faces the most beautiful shores of the Arabian Gulf within a zone that has preserved its natural beauty and environment. The upmarket development will add glamour and luxury to the life style of residents and visitors.

Al Hamra officials said the project is in line with the direction that Ras Al Khaimah is taking to diversify its local economy, under the guidance and direct support of the Emirate’s Crown Prince. Ras Al Khaimah enjoys huge potential to develop the tourism sector as it has diversified natural resources that include beautiful beaches, unspoiled mountain areas, green oases and lots of rich and unique archeological sites.

Distinctive Architecture
The most distinctive architectural and design feature of the Al Hamra Village project is that its execution will take into consideration adding of the cultural touch to the style. Residential units will harmoniously complement with the surrounding nature. Each residential unit will have utmost privacy.

Officials added that the location was chosen after many studies that confirmed the site as the most attractive, not only because of its unique placement in the middle of the city, but also as it provides a combination of natural beauty, pristine beaches, peace and tranquility – all attractive features to those seeking privacy and tranquility.

1,200 Residences
The 1,200 residential units will be built in the first phase of the project. This will be followed by other phases, which – apart from more residential units – will include other tourism and entertainment developments. The combination will give provide an unmatched lifestyle centre not available so far in the northern emirates. The luxurious project will be a mini-township with a wide range of services and facilities.
