Hikma Pharmaceuticals recently held its Cardiovascular Forum, where cardiovascular disease specialists and public health professionals met to share knowledge and network with their peers.
Attended by more than 160 doctors from 11 countries (Algeria, KSA, UAE, Oman, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Libya, Sudan, Tunisia and Egypt), this highly anticipated event brought together health care practitioners with an interest in cardiovascular medicine for two days of stimulating and practical learning through lectures and workshops on the latest in cardiology.
Presented by eight distinguished leading experts from the MENA region, the scientific program of the forum was endorsed by the Jordanian Atherosclerosis Society and the Algerian Society of Nephrology. It focused on presenting effective strategies to help cardiovascular patients, with increased risks, reach their treatment goals. The program was based on presenting new information and perspectives, sharing best practices with a highlight on how international findings can be adapted to national circumstances, in addition to case-based discussions of real live cases.
Ahmad Abu Al Ghanam, Marketing Senior Manager of the Cardiovascular and Diabetes at Hikma Pharmaceuticals, pointed out that this forum is part of the Hikma’s ongoing mission of endorsing healthcare providers with continuous medical education. “Our governing values stem from our quest to save lives and improve Cardiovascular and Metabolic health of our patients.”
