To help the children at SOS Children’s Village prepare for the 2013/2014 academic year, Al Maabar Aqaba covered the costs of stationery for school-aged children at the village. In addition, a team of Al Maabar Aqaba employees visited the SOS Children’s Village and helped the surrogate mothers distribute the school supplies. More than 50 students benefitted from the donations.
Speaking on the occasion, Al Maabar CEO Emad Kilani said, “As we at Al Maabar are dedicated to creating a brighter future in the city of Aqaba, it is vital that we focus on empowering the community’s younger generations. By emphasizing the importance of education and encouraging educational participation amongst the city’s youth, we hope to inspire these children to envision and aspire to a bright, opportunistic future for themselves and their community.”
Al Maabar is currently developing the Marsa Zayed project in the heart of the city of Aqaba on an area of 3.2 million square meters, nestled between the Red Sea coast and the mountains of Aqaba.
