Water saving devices or retrofits are eco-friendly devices designed to save huge amounts of water in any location where there are taps, wash basins, sprayers, toilets and other water outlets. The water saving devices were developed to achieve balanced relationship between conserving water and ensuring maximum user convenience. These aerators are designed to have a pressure sensitive membrane that decreases incoming water pressure while drawing in much more air than conventional aerators leading to a gentler and evenly distributed flow.
Al Majal, based in Seeb, is currently conducting free water audits in major establishments including the trial installation of water saving devices and waterless urinals. These initiatives are part of a soon to be launched water saving campaign of Al Majal. Park inn is one of the first establishments to support its water saving initiative.
