Al Masah Capital’s 4th Annual Investment Forum announced

High level financial and corporate decision-makers will congregate in Dubai on April 9 for the Fourth Annual Investment Forum initiated by Al Masah Capital Limited. Internationally recognized speakers will address regional and global issues in what has become a major fixture on the conference calendar and a ‘must attend’ event for the corporate and government sectors.

According to Shailesh Dash, Founder & CEO of Al Masah Capital, the annual gathering has become a vital investment forum and has provided attendees with in-depth analysis of new and emerging markets in the region as well as a platform for networking with some of the most influential people in the region.

He said, “This year’s Forum is poised to be the most wide ranging one yet. The caliber of speakers is very impressive and the topics being discussed cover a variety of relevant sectors including education, healthcare, industry and finance. In the past, the AMCL Annual Investment Forum has hosted His Excellency Hamad Abdullah Al Mass, the Executive Director of the International Economic Relations Sector of the UAE, when he addressed the forum on Abu Dhabi’s ‘2030 Strategy’. Other eminent speakers included His Excellency Salem Nasser Al Ismaily, Chairman of Public Authority Promotion & Export Development, Oman who addressed the forum on investment opportunities in Oman’s healthcare sector.

This year, the agenda will include Mr. Mouayed Makhlouf, MENA Regional Director of the International Finance Corporation who will share his views on “How the Growth model is evolving in MENA and IFC’s contribution to these economies and the Various Sectors”.

Other speakers will include Mr. Arnout Van Rijn, the CIO Asia Pacific of Robeco Hong Kong Limited, delivering his talk on “Medium Term Outlook for the Emerging Markets with focus on Asia and Middle East”. Mr. Akber Naqvi, Executive Director of Al Masah Capital Limited will address the forum on “Do Public Markets reflect the true economic growth?” and Mr. Ahmad Farouk Mohammed, Executive Director, Investment and Strategic Management and Islamic Head of Khazanah National,will elaborate on “South East Asia as an emerging Investment Destination & the links with Middle East”.

The major Panel Discussion session this year will be on “Requirements to Succeed in Managing Growth” as well as “Strategic Private Equity Investing Across MENASEA”. The first panel discussion will be held with Financial Journalist Mr. Gerard Al-Fil with Al Masah Capital Senior Directors Mr. Eyad Abu Huwaij, Mr. Don Lim and Mr. Nikhil Sancheti forming the panel. The second discussion will be hosted by Mr. Gerard Al-Fil along with Al Masah Capital Partner, Mr. Amitava Ghosal, AMCL Partner & South East Office CEO Dato Dr. Mohamed Amin Liew Abdulah as well as Partner & CFO Mr. Nrupaditya Singhdeo.
