The Award was presented to the Chairman of Board of Directors Mr. Nasser bin Mohammed Al Subiai, by His Excellency Dr. Shuwaish Al-Dhuwaihi, Minister of Housing, during the Housing Forum held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that accompanied the Riyadh Exhibition for Real Estate Development organised between April 28 to May 1, 2013, where Alargan has participated as a Platinum Sponsor.
Mr. Khaled Al-Mashaan, The Vice President of Alargan Projects, said, “Our company has received this award as a result of the company’s plan to develop the second phase of Manazel Qurtoba project which comprises of 558 villas and apartments, after the success that has been achieved in the Phase I of the “Manazel Qurtoba” development project. Moreover, the company has already initiated the infrastructure works on site a few weeks ago, and is planning to start the development of “Alargan Villas” project during the second half of 2013.
Mr. Al-Mashaan, explained that the company investment in the second phase of the Manazel Qurtoba’s project worth a total of SR455m and will consist of 162 villas and 396 apartments of various sizes and designs, available either for private housing or investment purposes to meet every client’s needs and requirements. The project occupies an estimated area of 133,000 square meters and is located directly behind SABIC headquarters building. The project is characterised by its close proximity to the universities, health centres as well as shopping and entertainment venues, it also includes all supporting facilities and services, such as mosques, schools and green spaces. The project’s infrastructure works have already commenced on site, and the Phase I development is expected to be completed within the fourth quarter of 2015.
Mr. Al-Mashaan noted that the company since inception has successfully implemented several projects at different stages of completion in various locations around the Kingdom. This is in order to implement its first plans aimed at developing 10,000 housing units, as the company’s core business focus is directed towards the development of housing projects through a deep understanding of customer needs, along with providing affordable solutions to their purchasing requirements.
Mr. Al-Mashaan added that the company’s strengths lie in developing integrated residential communities, in addition to offering pre-sales services that include advising our customers with the best suitable financing solutions. Alargan services extend to providing after-sales services through real estate advisory services and warranty services which cover 10-20 year on structural items, in addition to 1-10 year warranty on mechanical, electrical and finishing works services, adapted to each single project.
