It’s a great opportunity for those with a love of aviation to immerse themselves in a fantastic and original experience by taking a closer look at a diverse range of aircraft from jets, to propeller aircraft, to microcopters and many others.
Sheikh Ahmed Bin Hamad Al Thani, Chairman of the Al Khor Fly-In Organizing Committee, said: “Last year’s Fly-In was a great success, which combined fun for all the family with an educational experience. After the feedback we got in 2012, it was decided almost immediately that we would repeat the event in 2013 and we will be doing just that next month. The success of the previous event has proved irresistible to sponsors and we’ve got some really big names on board for the Al Khor Fly-In 2013.”
Mr Khalid Abdulrahman Al Khater, Vice-Chairman of the Al Khor Fly-In Organizing Committee added: “The event is all about family entertainment and education and sponsors recognise the value to their brands by being associated with the Fly-In, especially after last year’s success. So we are very pleased to welcome ‘big hitters’ like Qatar Airways, QAFCO, Barwa , RasGas , Al Misnad Tansport , Seashore , Al Jaber trading & Contracting and Venture gulf as sponsors of the 2013 Fly-In.”
