United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, April 16 - 2008 @ 11:53

Arab Business Machine Ltd is now making its mark on the Middle East through involvement in exhibitions like GETEX and a series of initiatives at several of the Middle East’s leading campuses.

Patrick Beyrouti, Education Manager of Arab Business Machine Ltd (ABM) says:

“Through the ‘Apple on campus’ programme we will soon launch a website especially targeted at students and staff in UAE universities allowing them to purchase computers online with discounts of up to 10%. Also, through this initiative, selected Apple Authorized Premium Resellers, Apple Authorized Resellers and Apple Authorized Retailers will continue to offer 5% discounts to students, faculty and staff in the region. Our products have a lot to offer the educational sector and the ‘Apple on campus’ programme makes products that much more accessible”.

The firm has already developed various programs aimed at schools and colleges using Apple’s solutions in their curriculum.

Earlier this year Arab Business Machine Ltd partnered with Higher Colleges of Technology’s Dubai Men’s College whereby the institute will benefit from the ‘Apple on Campus’ education program that provides students with a full range of Apple hardware, software and peripherals at exclusive discounts.

Many educators and institutions are already using Apple’s digital media solutions in their curricula and Apple hardware and digital media applications empower students as creators, not just consumers of content.
