Aptec Ingram Micro receives ‘Best Logistics Services’ award at Reseller ME’s 2012 HOT 50

United Arab Emirates: Thursday, December 27 - 2012 @ 11:12

The glittering ceremony brought together all key stakeholders of the IT channel universe: vendors, distributors, resellers and retailers. Aptec team was thrilled to receive this award as recognition of it’s continues efforts in providing value-added services to the channel. This is the first accolade in Aptec’s list of awards since the company was acquired by Ingram Micro, Fortune 100 company, and global IT distributor, earlier this year.

“Aptec for over 30 years has invested into its Logistics capabilities in the region to be a valuable link within the complex ICT Supply Chain. We feel extremely proud to be recognized specifically for our “Logistics Services” this time, as the importance of an efficient Supply Chain is underappreciated by many – in a time of Cloud-Computing and eCommerce,” says Mario M. Veljovic, Operations & Services Director, Aptec – an Ingram Micro company, and General Manager, Advanced Logistics Services LLC.

Dr. A Ali Baghdadi, Vice President and CEO, Aptec – an Ingram Micro company, said: “Technology companies always require efficient supply chain solutions. With product obsolescence speed increasing quarter by quarter, there is only a narrow window of time left to get products to market – or risk taking a loss. Aptec has been ever since keen to support its Partners in many areas and this award is recognition of our efforts in this direction.”
