The workshop included a detailed explanation of the rules, the fundamentals of basic photography, and the most important components of the integrated photo developing session.
The lecture also had additional information from the Finger printing Department of Dubai Police General Headquarters duly coordinated by member of Ibn al-Haytham Centre for Visual Arts.
The sessions also covered such aspects like professional and technical differences between the digital cameras used in the present day.
In his lecture, Lieutenant Colonel Jassim Rabia Al-Awadhi said, “Photography is a stage between dream and waking which is similar to happy moments and sad ones. One can reach to master such capability through the strength of art and by serious interaction of intellectual & cultural inventory of the artistry.”
Dr. Mamoon Atout, the Acting Dean of College of fine Arts and Design, said, “Students who have the deep sense and inculcate such hidden talents should seek to join the academic programs; this will blossom and develop their abilities in photography.”
He reminded all such workshop contributes to refine understanding, skills in photography, sharing experience of an artist.
The President of the American University in the Emirates, Prof Muthanna’ G Abdul Razzaq PhD, thanked Lieutenant Colonel Jassim Rabia Al-Awadhi for honoring the session and sharing his knowledge. He also emphasized, AUE will continued to invite such experts to share the floor to educate its student community to broaden the knowledge base.
