“Awalaman” is unique software developed by Guardware, Arabized and updated in cooperation with AwalNet. It uses a very sophisticated search engine which ensures, together with an advanced encryption technology, that all lewd pages and indecent pictures are completely obstructed.

This innovative software features a user-friendly interface, and very simple settings that allow users to select the security level they need. When “Awalaman” detects offensive pictures, it immediately blocks them according to the settings set by users’ parents. Likewise, it enables parents to identify any indecent websites that might have been visited; it is also capable of recognizing unsafe websites. What is more, the software settings can be password protected by parents who can totally rely on it to control their children’s online activities. And last but not least, “Awalaman” is completely compatible with Internet Explorer and Netscape browsers.

“No doubt that the list of internet benefits is unlimited. However, it includes huge quantities of indecent stuffs that largely threaten our conservative societies and jeopardize our families. And despite all efforts exerted to minimize such dangers, we are all still prune to come across obscene images at some websites regarded as decent”, says Fahd Al Hussain, general manager of AwalNet.

“We have launched “Awalaman” to put an end to this annoying, dangerous phenomenon by blocking the notorious web sites before they get to us. Our new software identifies the unwanted pictures rather than websites. And it thus integrates with the huge efforts made to ease the increasing concerns of parents about this issue. This superior software comes as an important result of our customer-centric strategy, and our commitment to offering the best products and services. With “Awalaman” you can enjoy complete peace of mind while your family members are surfing the web”, he adds.

Users can start trying “Awalaman”- which is supported by all Saudi ISPs- freely for 7 days, after which they will need to activate the service by obtaining the subscription card available at all AwalNet authorized dealers. The subscription fee is 175 SR for the first year, and can be renewed for only 100 SR year after year.
