The new “AwalMyISP” service is the forerunner of Awalnet’s new services for the year 2006. “AwalMyISP” enables companies with internet provision licenses to grow real providers of internet services in the kingdom, including DSL services (MyDSL) and dial up services (MyEasyNet). And this can be done quite easily thanks to AwalNet’s reliable IT infrastructure that helps companies avoid high costs and complicated technical details normally required to establish an independent company.
Mr. Fahad Al Hussain, general manager of AwalNet comments:
“The new launch comes right after the Saudi communications and information technology commission released a decision that allows issuing new licenses to provide internet services. Accordingly, customers are now able to obtain internet service provision license for extremely less fees. Likewise; they can avoid the large investments and technical sophistications that have always been needed when founding an independent company. They can now depend on the new service AwalNet offers to become real internet service providers in the kingdom saving a lot of time, money and efforts”.
He adds: “AwalNet enjoys strong technical infrastructure and extensive expertise that ensure providing state-of-the-art services complying with the highest international standards. The company also boasts very qualified and experienced team who do their best to offer the highest level of support that often exceed customers’ expectations”.
Moreover; the new service features many advantages and benefits derived from the prestigious position of AwalNet as a leading provider of internet services to both individuals and companies. Add to that the highly-developed infrastructure and the great after-sale support services that AwalNet offers around the clock- 7 days per week.
AwalNet has got the best expertise in this particular field in the Kingdom as it currently provides two companies with VISP services; and the two are totally satisfied with the consequences. AwalNet is also the sole company which gets Synchronous Transfer Mode (STM4) from Saudi Telecoms. And this helps it provide better flexibility whenever more bandwidth and speed are required. Furthermore; the company uses some of the latest and most advanced systems at Saudi Telecoms, and enjoys the broadest band to transfer data through. On the other hand, AwalNet has got all that may be needed by customers to provide internet services, not to mention the huge data center equipped with the latest technologies and supported by a dedicated team and security experts who strain every nerve to offer the best services possible to customers.
The communications and information technology commission in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has recently approved issuing new licenses to provide internet services according to the below conditions:
1- The annual fee of the license is five thousands Saudi Riyals.
2- The annual fee for launching the service commercially is ten thousand Saudi Riyals.
3- One hundred thousand Saudi Riyals as an unconditional bank guarantee
4- Grading ISP licenses as (B) category licenses starting from 1/1/1426.
