AXA reaches out to customers in Oman with new shop and kiosks

In a step aimed at reaching out to customers across Oman, AXA Gulf – one of the largest and the leading non-life international insurers in the region – has announced the opening of its new kiosk and shops in Muscat.

The opening of the new kiosks clearly signifies AXA’s intent to position their brand closer to their customers. The new outlets; a kiosk at Al Meera Hypermarket in Azaiba, a shop in the newly opened Al Marsa Shopping mall at The Wave, Muscat and the completely revamped kiosk at Muscat City Centre, and will cater to retail insurance needs including home, motor, travel and healthcare insurance. AXA’s new kiosk at Al Meera will welcome customers from 10:00 am to 10:00pm Saturday to Friday, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm Saturday to Friday at The Wave, and from 10am to 10pm on from Saturday to Friday at Muscat City Centre.

Jonathan Jane, Country Manager, AXA Insurance in Oman, said: “As part of our commitment to Sultanate of Oman, AXA Gulf continues to invest in various communities around the country for our customers. The opening of the new shop & kiosks is a testimony of that. As we continue to grow, we look towards leveraging the expertise of Omani nationals in our recruitment strategy. As risk awareness increases, so too will insurance penetration levels. Our shops will bring to the forefront AXA’s retail offerings of motor, home and travel insurance at places most convenient to our customers.”

By implementing this multi-access strategy, we ensure our values are met and a seamless customer experience is achieved throughout the Sultanate of Oman. We value our customers and their needs, and ensure that they receive timely advice, assistance and care that they deserve at strategic locations – and we are confident that the new kiosks, with their prime location and availability of its staff all week days and throughout shopping hours, will effectively cater to all customers’ insurance needs.”

AXA operates a total of eight outlets in Oman, including six in Muscat [Qurum City Centre, Muscat City Centre, Muscat Grand Mall, Al Meera, The Wave and Al Khuwair] and two in Sohar [Main Branch and Safeer Mall].
