As part of its steadfast commitment to offer a wide range of options for its customers, VIVA Bahrain has launched online post-paid billing services through the eGovernment Authority’s (eGA) national portal (Bahrain.bh). The service will enable customers to obtain further details of their bill payment, recharge their lines, or receive a copy of paid balance via email.
This step was adopted to activate the ePayment options and services through various channels – as a confirmation of VIVA Bahrain’s desire to increase the available payment channels and promote post-paid billing services; including mobile phones, broadband and the Internet.
VIVA Bahrain CEO Eng. Ulaiyan Al Wetaid declared that VIVA takes pride in its association and cooperation with the eGovernment Authority – set off as part of a partnership between the public and private sector, with a core focus on empowering the private sector to offer improved eServices according to the latest practices and continuous technical support around the clock, thereby contributing to provide high-quality services for VIVA customers.
“We are keen on providing a wide spectrum of new solutions and options for ePayment and safe eServices at the national portal, through our website (www.viva.com.bh) or the distributed eKiosks,” said Al Wetaid.
“Privacy and data protection provided by the national portal enhances security and provides an added value for eServices that enable our customers to carry-out their transactions with much ease and convenience,” he continued.
“eGA is currently working on enhancing and strengthening partnership with the private sector towards achieving better results and benefitting from the potentials of the authority’s technological infrastructure – so as to ensure that better services are delivered and are in line with the key objectives of the National eGovernment Strategy 2016. The strategy has given proper consideration to the delivery of high-quality, comprehensive and effective services, along with creating increased partnerships with the private sector, in a manner that is consistent with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 which gives top priority to the private sector as a primary driver of Bahrain’s economy,” announced eGovernment Authority CEO Mr. Mohammed Ali Al Qaed.
Post-paid users among VIVA customers can see further details of their online bills and payments in terms of mobile or broadband packages. What is only required of customers is to enter their post-paid number and the amount they wish to pay. Users can also decide whether they intend to receive a receipt for the amount paid or not.
As for enquiring their bill amount, they would only be requested to enter their post-paid number and CPR number.
VIVA’s contact numbers are also available for users on the eGovernment portal for further information or enquiries about services – as part of VIVA’s commitment to provide first-class services for its customers.
