Bahrain Financial Harbour appoints new CEO

Further strengthening its corporate team, Bahrain Financial Harbour Holding Company (BFHHC) has appointed Mr. Ahmed Ebrahim Al Moataz as the new Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of the Bahrain Financial Harbour Holding Company (BFHHC) and the Financial Centre Development Company (FCDC); developers of the world-class, fully integrated waterfront financial city, the Bahrain Financial Harbour (BFH).

The new CEO is an experienced strategist and financial consultant and advisor, with vast experience and a proven track record directing local and international investment firms towards enhanced growth and prosperity.

Commenting on the appointment, BFH and FCDC said: “We are delighted that Mr. Al Moataz has been appointed as the CEO and Board Member of the two Companies. A highly focused, committed and advanced financial environment such as the BFH is vital in order to reinforce Bahrain’s position as the leading international financial centre of the Middle East. We are confident that he has the expertise and experience to carry out this mission, and lead the BFH towards a new era of success. Commenting on his appointment Mr. Al Moataz said: “It is a privilege to be asked to lead the BFH development which is the acknowledged business hub of Bahrain, and one of the most preferred business addresses in the Gulf. ”He takes the reigns of the iconic development as it witnesses increased construction works in order to cater to its growing community of international businesses, companies and financial institutions; organisations that are already taking advantage of the financial city’s strategic and stunning waterfront location, state of the art facilities, and contemporary, fully-equipped office spaces.
