Lasting for ten days, the conference aimed at exploring opportunities for a sustainable future. AIESEC’s 60 years of activating youth leadership have been supported by Standard Chartered, Cadbury, Unilever, Microsoft, UBS and PWC, that are global partners of AIESEC.

The Bahraini delegation was represented by Nada Ali Abdulla, Vice President of Business Development for AIESEC Bahrain, Mohammed Ali, an AIESEC alumnus, Abdur Rehman Mohd., Vice President of Projects and Communication for AIESEC Bahrain, and Luminita Crivet, AIESEC Bahrain President.

On asking Nada about how AIESECs partners support their activities, she quoted:

“Our partners support ranges from advisory support, developing and recruiting AIESEC talents to partnering with our key programs and initiatives, while AIESEC tries to provide them youth with the necessary leadership qualities to meet the opportunities and challenges that they face. We are ever grateful for their support and connection with AIESEC in spreading key social messages and developing socially responsible leadership for a better world.”

External representatives such as Martin Bean, Managing Director of Education at Microsoft , Vanessa Green, Head of Standard Chartered Americas, Kelly Michael of Artemisia, Marcio Jappe at McKinsey and David Cooperrider founder of the Appreciative Inquiry added great value to the conference while supporting the youth in their mission of activating leadership.
