The drivers, who were successful in the recent Chinese Grand Prix, were delighted to be able to participate in the interactive session with their Red Bull colleagues via the state-of-the-art video link.
Batelco pulled out all the stops to provide Red Bull with an ADSL line and a fixed IP within 24 hours of receiving the request, thanks to the excellent support of Batelco staff.
The Video Conferencing Service provided by Batelco facilitates ‘face to face’ communication from a location of the customer’s choice – to worldwide destinations.
Batelco Group General Manager Media & Government Relations Ahmed Al Janahi said:
“Customers have the option to conduct their video conferencing session from the comfort of their own offices or location of their choice, or at Batelco’s state-of-the-art Video Conferencing studio located at BCC (Batelco Commercial Complex).”
“One of the key advantages of Video Conferencing is the reduction, if not elimination, of business travel and the ensuing high cost of air travel and international hotels, not to mention the amount of time spent on travel,” he added.
“In this particular case, with Red Bull coming straight to Bahrain for the Kingdom’s annual F1, our service provided the perfect opportunity for the team to interact with their colleagues back home,” he added.
“By ensuring that Batelco delivers world class business tools we enhance Bahrain’s status on the world map as a key business hub of the Middle East region,” concluded Mr. Al Janahi.
