This comes in the wake of a growing demand for state of the art waste management systems on new public and private developments around the region, like the Economic City in Saudi Arabia and other budding projects in Qatar and the UAE.
The basic theme of these containers has been designed to match the idea of increasing ‘green consciousness’ in the UAE, according to Blue Stream’s managing director, Suvarna Jeetandra Asked about the potential of these recycling solutions, he said, “The private and public developers are seeing the benefit of implementing this new system and using it as a key selling point in their various projects.”
The material used for manufacturing of these containers was chosen to suit the external weather conditions. The openings of the containers were also customized according to the kind of waste to be deposited. They also come with bright labeling to inform and educate the general public.
This development is expected to offer regional establishments the most convenient locations to drop off their segregated waste. So far, Blue Stream has worked with numerous private and public entities across the Middle East, in launching their recycling campaigns successfully across offices, outlets and other public facilities.
For instance, Blue Stream has teamed up with ENOC / EPPCO stations and assisted them in their recently launched nation wide recycling initiative at their various locations across the Emirates.
The company was involved in the design, development, manufacturing and distribution of these recycling containers across the UAE. “The growing awareness of environmental protection and recycling efforts along with the strong directives from the UAE Government is going to help us see the launch of many such initiatives in the times to come,” commented Jeetandra.
