BUZZEFF MENA regional leader in social video advertising broadcasting on internet, takes advantage in 2013 of a global growth of 37% investment in social video advertising and announces its operational performance achievements aligned with its international roll up strategy.
All media advertising investments grew 3.2% in 2013, bringing to nearly $ 490 billion total advertising expenditure for the year. Digital contribution was 16% growth, for a total of $ 118 billion, representing 25% of total advertising investments. Social video has known in this context an increase of 37% spends, with total of $ 8.26 billion worldwide.
In the MENA region, the market for social video advertising in 2013 was marked by a 300% growth compared to 2012, representing an estimated $ 60 million investment. More than 100 new advertisers have invested in online video advertising in 2013.
BUZZEFF 2013 PERFORMANCE ALIGNED TO ITS INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN While these significant market changes were happening, BUZZEFF implemented a development plan to take advantage of this opportunity. Indeed, the international fundraising of $ 1.2 million in July 2012, was executed in two phases. In 2013, BUZZEFF revenue grew 400% and 205 % EBITDA thanks to 70 video campaigns broadcasting through a network of more than 10,000 publishers, categorized into 20 verticals of relevant targets. The publishing network has generated 200 million page views.
Since its establishment in Dubai, BUZZEFF covers 15 countries in the MENA region with over 105 million internet users market. OUTLOOK 2014 CONFIRM THE UPWARD TREND IN ADVERTISING SPEND Global market outlook for 2014 confirm the upward trend in advertising investments with a projected increase of 6.5% of investments and 35% growth in social video advertising. In this context, 64% of advertisers say they intend to increase their investments in online video advertising.
