Based in Dubai, WPR will continue to service the client base of the former PR company and will seek to grow organically and through the creation of wider relationships within the regional and international PR industry.
WPR Limited Managing Director, Jonathan Walsh, said that the development had been under consideration for several months: “We believe that both the timing and opportunity are now right to make this decisive move, as Face to Face continues to develop rapidly as a high profile, regional advertising brand and the PR firm continues to build its own independent business and client base.
“We have been operating the PR business as a separate unit for more than 12 months and this move formalizes this position and establishes the autonomy of the new PR company. Our team will continue to service our PR clients and WPR will continue to work closely with Face to Face advertising, as and when appropriate. We aim to offer continuity and fresh options to existing clients.
“WPR gives us the short term opportunity to build the PR team to manage the increasing client business we are taking on, as well as to create new working relationships within countries across the region and, potentially, even within international networks. It will also allow us to create a new management team of equity holding PR practitioners, who can work together to build the company, longer term.”
WPR offers corporate and marketing PR support to clients in a diverse range of businesses, from banking to beverages, healthcare to hair care, education to IT.
